| About the page.. | |
This site has grown from a single webpage (hence the name Page) back in 1993 to a collection of links to external sites, original sourcecode and specialized search engines, maintained on a regular basis and attracting to about 1000 visitors a day. When you send me mail I will generally read it the same day. If the question is somewhere along the line of helping to write sources, obtaining pascal compilers and such, I will not answer: sorry. I have too little time. The external links are collected using search engines and tips from usenet and incoming mail. The colored boxes in front of each link reflect click popularity of a site: the darker, the more clicks have been registered. All the sourcecode available on this site is sent to me by mail. The owners should mention themselves in the comments so that they receive credits (or complaints :-). I cannot test them all myself, so I take no responsability whatsoever on the effects of compiling and running these sources. The find sources option is powered by a script and indexer I wrote myself to collect and parse over 12000 sources into unit/program names, function/procedure names and source comments. The searchscript will use this information to rank and display the resulting sourcefiles. I myself am not a dedicated pascal programmer. I was one, back in the early 90s, when I flunked my university studies because I was coding pascal all day. After switching studies and setting up this site I ended up being a professional programmer. | |
